Michael Gunning (he/him) is one of the best male swimmers in Jamaican History. During a career of 16 years, Michael held 8 national records, 3 British titles and competed at 2 World Swimming Championships. He’s the first openly gay and mixed-race swimmer in the UK and is a trailblazer for multiple communities all around the world.
